Be road safe these school holidays

Ipswich Police are reminding all drivers to stay safe on Queensland Roads whilst enjoying the break these School holidays.

Police are urging all drivers to be mindful and obey the rules of the road, drive to the conditions, wear seatbelts, and remove your mobile phone from use.

Police are focusing on reducing road trauma by raising awareness around the Fatal Five: Speeding, Seatbelts, Fatigue, Drink and Drug Driving, Inattention/Distraction for road users and reminding them to think before they get behind a wheel and consider others on the road when driving.

All contribute factors that can cause serious injury and road trauma. make a commitment these school holidays to; Stop and think before heading out, road safety is everyone’s responsibility.

Road Safety; Everyone, Everyday.
